Soft-Guard™ Septa provide easier penetration of autosampler needles and better resealing than other brands, for longer instrument up-time and fewer missed injections. Pre-Slit Septa are normally recommended for Waters Alliance and Acquity instruments. X Shape Pre-Slit provides a greater target area for needles and are easier to penetrate but do not reseal as well as single slit septa.

Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Yellow Cap, PTFE/Silicone Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. Medium durometer red rubber with a .015 layer of clear PTFE. Great and economical for routine analysis. Not recommended for multiple injections.
